Suzuki presents its car-based mid-size crossover SUV, the XL7. The versatility of this automobile is impressive and it only seems to advance for the 2008 year.

Let’s start with the interior. The seating scheme is highly customizable; you can either have a five or seven person occupancy maximum. The 60/40-split second row seat is “fold-and-tumble,” so it can be condensed for more space. The optional third row of seating is 50/50-split and can fold flat for further storage space. Whether you choose to have more cargo or more people, the ambiance of the interior is always pleasant wit the automatic climate control air conditioning. Two respectable MP3 compatible audio systems are offered on lower trim-levels, and a Pioneer® 7-speaker audio system is available on the highest Limited model. Buyers who opt for the Limited model also have the option for either a DVD entertainment system or a DVD navigation system with LCD display and voice-control. However, all trim levels are lucky to be graced with a driver information system with a trip computer that features various vehicle aspects.

The inside is also filled with an array of safety features as well. An advanced frontal airbag system and side-curtain airbags come standard on all trim-levels. In addition, standard on all models is 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking with Electronic Brake-force distribution, front and rear side-impact door beams, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and more! The Limited model features a rear vision camera for backing up scenarios.

Suzuki designed the all-aluminum 3.6-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 engine, complete with Variable Valve Timing. This exceptional engine can get 252 horsepower and 243 lb. ft. of torque at 2,300 rpm. The engine works with a five-speed automatic transmission; there is an auto-manual option to boot. FWD is offered standard on all trim-levels and AWD is offered on the higher trim levels as an option. With this configuration, the 2008 XL7 can tow up to 3500 pounds!

All of these features can be overwhelming to some, but don’t let them be! Embrace everything this SUV has to offer, as well as it’s responsive, smooth and high performing ride. The 2008 Suzuki XL7 is an excellent addition to the SUV community.

The Suzuki Aerio is to be replaced by the SX4 five-door compact hatchback in 2008. The SX4 adds a front-wheel drive Sport sedan as an option and has an arsenal of standard safety features.

Both the hatchback and sedan feature a more sporty exterior design and have higher dimensions than other vehicles of the class. The compact style deceives the average spectator into believing there is an equally compact interior; the average spectator is wrong. The five-person capacity is doubled with a 50/50-split backseat. In the crossover, the seat can be folded flat and tumbled forward, and the cargo volume dramatically increases from its already respectable number. The SX4 Sport features a spacious trunk that overpowers other models in the class. Other features you’ll find in both models include cruise control, automatic climate control, power features, MP3 compatible audio systems, SmartPass™ keyless entry and more!

All SX4 models include Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags and side-curtain airbags for both rows. Also standard is a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, front and rear side-impact door beams and the list goes on! The option for an Electronic Stability Program with Traction Control is available for both the Crossover and the Sport. Both models also use the 2.0-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine. The vehicles come with a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic transmission. The Crossover comes standard with AWD, while the sport is FWD.

Both the sedan and hatchback perform great and have more than enough comfort for the passengers and driver. It would be wise to check the 2008 Suzuki SX4 out. You have versatility, options and guaranteed performance.

Suzuki brings the American Market Japans Escudo compact SUV, which goes by the Grand Vitara here in the states. Featuring the 2008 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy award, the Grand Vitara is an excellent automobile that combines the resourcefulness of sport utility with the handling of a more compact model.

On the inside, there is a five-person maximum occupancy with front bucket seats and a 60/40-split “fold-and-tumble” rear seatback. When the seat is folded down, the average cargo-space for all three trim levels is 68 cubic feet. The lucky occupants are graced with digital automatic climate control, power features and an excellent audio system with MP3 capabilities. The driver maintains control of the vehicle with cruise control, tilt steering wheel, a new remote fuel lid opener, a detailed three-pod instrument panel and more. Higher trim levels get the HomeLink® wireless control system, leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, fancier trim accents and more!

The Grand Vitara is kept exceptionally safe with a host of safety features. Advanced, dual-stage airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side-curtain airbags for all rows are standard. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System, the Electronic Stability Program, the Traction Control System and the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System all only add to the security one gets from the compact sensation. The 2.7-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 engine compliments the safety by providing 185 horsepower and 184 lb. ft. of torque @ 4,500 rpm. This new engine is offered with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. An optional full-time four-wheel-drive system offers a unique “four-mode” that offers various vehicle positions.

The Grand Vitara drives great, had excellent handling and was comfortable to boot. The ride was exceptionally smooth for an SUV and with four-wheel-drive; the Grand Vitara performs outstandingly in off-road situations. The 2008 Grand Vitara is definitely worth a look!

The Suzuki Forenza is targeted as an affordable, versatile and high-performing vehicle that sold as either a sedan or a wagon body style. Both the sedan and wagon promise to deliver a fantastic experience to the driver and the passengers.

The Forenza can fit up to five occupants inside the cabin, and it comes with a 60/40-split rear seat that folds flat. This ups the 12.4 cubic feet of trunk space in the sedan up considerably. The instrument panel features various vehicle parameters and at night illuminates the interior with a jade-green glow. Some standard features you’ll find include heated mirrors, power features and MP3 capable stereo systems. If you opt for one of Suzuki’s packages, you can add in cruise control, remote keyless entry and more! Bluetooth connectivity is a new and notable feature of the 2008 model.

The outside provides a curved roof that gives the vehicle a novel presence on the road. The unique design is powered by a 2.0-liter, 16-valve DOHC 4-cylinder engine that couples with a standard four-sped automatic transmission or an optional five-speed manual transmission. As an option, Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution are offered. Standard safety features include frontal airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The Wagon has an optional 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution available with the Convenience Package.

This compact vehicle really shines on the road. It totes a high performance rating, and is comfortable to boot. The handling is above average because of the high-arch roof, visibility is excellent. The 2008 Suzuki Forenza is an excellent choice for prospective car buyers, in either sedan or wagon form.
