Suzuki Concepts on Two & Four Wheels
Suzuki has been hard at work pumping out stunning and eco-friendly concept vehicles over the past year. You’ve seen hints on our site and around the web, but now we’ll bring you a closer look at some of our favorite new modes of transportation coming your way in the future thanks to Suzuki – and that future looks bright with smaller engine but greater speed and more aggressive curves.
Splash Compact Concept

The fast little Splash concept car is probably the most exciting realistic car coming from the Japanese auto maker next year. The compact two and four door Rabbit spin off gets great fuel mileage (on both diesel and gasoline) with its 1.0 liter three cylinder engine, 1.2 four-cyl or its 1.3 four-cyl. The driver will receive anywhere from 65 to almost 100 horsepower.
Splash will be driving the streets of Europe possibly next spring.
Suzuki Biplane Bike Concept

If motorcycles are your thing (if you’re a Suzuki fan they probably are) then you’ll love the new Biplane concept. Top speed is unknown as of yet – but if you like to drag at a stop light and can handle a powerful super-lite motorcycle than the Biplane is one for you. The handlebars bend forward much like a race bike (the type with pedals) which will increase wind resistance. Is Suzuki trying to make the next Batcycle?
Suzuki Kizashi

This race car concept from Suzuki just won’t go away – but we don’t really mind. The new concept has a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder “turbo-diesel” under the hood. That will give the driver 295 hp with a 3.6 L V6 engine at 6 speeds and all wheel drive. The Suzuki’s size alone is intimidating (4.63 meters in length) not to mention the front grill. The production version of this automobile is expected to reach dealers by 2010.
